Three species were identified from this family in the kororā diet so far. Warehous are likely taken as pelagic youngsters. Bluenose warehou Hyperoglyphe antarctica, Blue warehou Seriolella brama and Ruffe Tubbia tasmanica.
Bluenose warehou: or Matiri is widespread in New Zealand from Kermadec Ridge to Stewart Island. They can grow to 137cm and occur in depth of 200 to 800m.
