2025/26 year
Anchovies (blue) were a lot less important, and the extralimital Needlefishes (light blue) were very important. Pacific Saury was present (pink), Barracouta (grey), and Warehous (light pink, not visible in pie chart). No “other” fish prey was detected. Non-fish prey were some Jellyfish, Krill, Northern arrow squid, and Antarctic arrow squid.
Anchovies (blue) was important again, with Needlefishes (light blue), and Tuna (green) also recorded.
2024/25 year
Anchovies (blue) was important with Pilchard (red), Needlefishes (lighter blue), Sauries (pink) also recorded. The “other” species (white) was Northern arrow squid.
Anchovies (blue) were again important but no Pilchard was found. Sauries (pink) and Tuna (green) were recorded. The “other” species (white) was Jack mackerel.
This sample was almost exclusively Anchovies (blue). The “other” species (white) were Piper, Kahawai, and Whitedot blenny. Non-fish species were krill, and Northern arrow squid.
