2025/26 year
This sample had mostly Pilchard (red), with some Anchovies (blue) and Cockabullies (Triplefins - yellow). No “other” fish and non-fish prey were detected.
Anchovies (blue), Pilchard (red), Blue mackerel (green) were important, and small amounts of Barracouta (grey and not visible on the pie chart) was detected. “Other” prey (white) were Jack mackerel, Goatfish and non-fish were Jellyfish and some squid.
2024/25 year
Anchovy (blue), Pilchard (red) and Tuna (green) were the main prey. “Other” species (white) identified were Northern conger, Jack mackerel and Southern goatfish. Non-fish prey were Northern arrow squid and krill.
Anchovy (blue) and Pilchard (red) were important again. The only “other” species (white) identified was Jack mackerel.
Only Anchovies (blue) and Pilchard (red) were found. The only non-fish species was Northern arrow squid.
