2025/26 year
Pilchard (red) was the most important prey. Some Anchovies (blue) were also recorded as well as. Cockabullies (Triplefins - yellow). The “other” fish (white) were Eagle ray, Sandfish, Inanga, Yelloweye mullet, Red gurnard, Jack mackerel, Spotty and Yellow-crested weedfish. Non-fish species recorded were krill and Northern arrow squid.
Anchovies (blue) was again important with less Pilchard (red) present. Blue mackerel (Tuna, green) became more important. “Other” prey (white) was Gould’s squid.
2024/25 year
Pilchard (red) were the most important prey, with Anchovies (blue), and Tuna (green) also recorded. The only “other” prey (white) was Jack mackerel.
